Internships
The LIEIS offers internships to young academics from Luxembourg, Europe and elsewhere, giving basic training in European and international affairs, as well as in administrative matters.
So far, it has received some two hundred interns from a multitude of countries, about half of them from Luxembourg itself.
Length
Internships can take any length, typically from 1 up to 6 months, with the possibility of an extension.
Subject/Objective
The Institute offers internships to current students who require a placement during their academic curriculum (e.g. course requirement, Master or PhD Thesis, other research work, etc.), as well as to those students who have finished their studies and are seeking work experience in academic research in the field of European integration and/or international relations.
